Škoda Auto has unveiled interior design sketches of its all-new electric seven-seater flagship, the Škoda Peaq. The illustrations show a cabin that combines generous space and clean architecture and provides a lounge-like atmosphere shaped by comfortable materials and an intuitive user interface. The world premiere will take place in Monnetier-Mornex, France, on 23 June 2026 at 18:25.
Škoda Appoints Chris Froome as Cycling Ambassador
Škoda Auto has appointed Chris Froome, one of the world’s most successful road cyclists, as an international Brand Cycling Ambassador. The renowned rider will take part in a range of Škoda cycling activities, including those around the upcoming Tour de France. Škoda launches production of the new Epiq in Pamplona
Series production of Škoda’s new all-electric entry model, the Epiq, has begun at the Volkswagen Navarra plant in Pamplona, Spain. As part of the Electric Urban Car Family from the Volkswagen Brand Group Core (BGC), this marks an important step in strengthening synergies within the BGC: all four models from CUPRA, Volkswagen and Škoda will be produced at plants in Spain.

Škoda reveals Epiq interior and sets premiere date

The brand’s most affordable all-electric compact SUV is Škoda’s first series-production model to fully implement all aspects of the Modern Solid design language, focusing on clear layout and minimalist style. Škoda Auto ranks as Europe’s 2nd best-selling car brand
In the first quarter of 2026, Škoda Auto continued its growth trajectory and became Europe’s second best-selling car brand*, delivering 222,500 vehicles (+17.1%) and significantly outperforming the overall market. Worldwide deliveries to customers rose 14.0% year on year to 271,900 vehicles.

Škoda Auto teams up with Hasbro’s PLAY-DOH brand
Škoda Auto and Hasbro, a leading games, IP and toy company, have announced a one-year collaboration featuring Hasbro’s iconic PLAY-DOH brand. The cooperation accompanies the launch campaign of the new, all-electric Škoda Epiq and is built around the use of modelling compound as a central design element. The approach reflects the campaign’s focus on creativity and playful visual storytelling and is extended beyond campaign assets through co-branded materials. First joint activities are currently under way during Milan Design Week.
Škoda wins four titles at Great British Fleet Awards
Škoda has scooped no fewer than four major titles at the annual Great British Fleet Awards. In what was a remarkably successful night for the brand, Škoda collected best in class awards for the Elroq, Kodiaq, Superb and the new Enyaq Cargo. ‘Concepts Unmasked’: Škoda Museum depository opens
The Škoda Museum is continuing to expand its exhibition offering with another attractive depository space now open to the public. Following the first phase, ‘Sleeping Beauties’, which opened in December 2025, the second hall, named ‘Concepts Unmasked’, is now opening its doors to visitors. Here, Škoda Auto presents concepts, design studies and prototypes from the late 1950s to the present day. Visits are available by prior reservation and as part of a guided tour. Together, the two depositories add more than 50 attractive exhibits to the main Škoda Museum exhibition.
Škoda Enyaq explores the source of human life
Škoda has once again demonstrated the real-world capability of the all-electric Enyaq by embarking on an epic journey into one of the planet‘s most remote environments. The adventure saw drivers from BBC Top Gear and BBC Earth take a standard production Enyaq Coupé vRS to the Great Rift Valley in northern Kenya – often described as the Cradle of Humankind – to explore one of the most significant landscapes in human history.
Škoda to introduce striking new Dragon Skin paint colour
Škoda UK is marking the 30th anniversary of the Octavia with the introduction of a dramatic new colour – chosen by Škoda UK fans who took part in online polls. Following a vote across Škoda UK’s social media platforms, the brand’s followers decided that Dragon Skin should be added as a new colour option for the Octavia vRS. As a result of the vote, Octavia vRS buyers in the UK will be able to specify their car in Dragon Skin from 4 March.

Škoda Motorsport’s legacy dates back to 1901, when it started with motorcycle racing events. In the present day, victories and titles are fought for and won in in the WRC2 category of the FIA World Rally Championship, the FIA European Rally Championship and other regional and national rally series. Kodiaq gains the X factor: special Edition X model
Škoda is adding a special limited-edition model to its award-winning Kodiaq line-up. The new Kodiaq Edition X marks 10 years since the unveiling of the SUV that helped transform Škoda into the brand it is today. The new model, which features a value-packed standard specification, celebrates the ongoing success of Škoda’s flagship SUV, which has sat at the top of the brand’s product line-up since its introduction in 2016. Priced at £40,590 OTR (P11D £39,995), the new Kodiaq Edition X sits below the Government Expensive Car Supplement threshold, meaning even lower running costs for owners.
AirConsole, Škoda Play and Spotify to BEV infotainment
Škoda has updated the infotainment systems of its all-electric Enyaq (with software 4.0 and higher) and Elroq models, adding new on-board entertainment features: the AirConsole gaming platform, the Škoda Play video service offering personalised news and learning content from a wide range of authorised partners, and native Spotify integration.
Škoda Auto steps up production in 2025
In 2025, 1,065,000 Škoda cars were produced worldwide, representing a year-on-year increase of 15%. In addition, the carmaker built more than 329,000 battery systems for Škoda electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles, as well as for other Volkswagen Group models, along with more than 1,030,000 transmissions and over 500,000 engines.

Škoda Auto India has introduced the updated Kushaq in the key Indian market. Featuring segment-first technologies – including an all-new eight-speed torque-converter automatic transmission and a Rear Seat Massage function – together with additional features and standard equipment, the model follows Škoda Auto India’s principle of making European engineering more accessible on Indian roads. The updated Kushaq builds on the success of its predecessor, which sold more than 94,900 units and is exported to growth markets such as Vietnam, the Middle East, and Africa.
Škoda Auto 2025: 1,043,900 vehicles delivered to customers
Škoda Auto delivered 1,043,900 vehicles to customers worldwide (+12.7%), recording its strongest sales performance in the past six years. In Europe (EU 27+4), Škoda delivered 836,200 vehicles (+9.9%), for the first time becoming the third best-selling car brand in its core market. A key driver of this performance was the success of Škoda’s BEV and PHEV models: one in four Škoda models (25.7%) were delivered with a plug. Additionally, strong demand for the Elroq and Enyaq lifted Škoda to fourth place among Europe’s electric vehicle manufacturers.

As the first model with Škoda’s Modern Solid design, it’s built on a flexible line alongside the Enyaq and Octavia, enabling EV and ICE production. The Elroq ranks second among Europe’s best-selling BEVs in 2025 and has earned major awards, including the Red Dot Design Award and ‘German Car of the Year 2026’, highlighting strong demand for Škoda’s electric SUVs.
