Takata airbag recall campaign
Urgent action required for affected vehicles
If your Škoda was produced between around 2012 and 2018, it could be fitted with an airbag manufactured by a company called Takata. In the event of an accident, in which the front airbag is triggered, your airbag’s gas generator could burst, sending metal parts into the car and causing serious or even fatal injuries to you and your passengers.

Software issue
Diesel Engines EA189
Volkswagen has implemented technical measures to eliminate deviations in the software installed in the diesel engines. Škoda also obtained engines of the type EA189 from Volkswagen Group and used them in Škoda cars. Find out if the software issue concerns you.
