The Škoda Elroq is Škoda’s award-winning, all-electric SUV designed for everyday driving, from the school run and city commute, to longer family journeys. The Elroq combines 5-seat practicality, zero tailpipe CO₂ emissions while driving, a 470-litre boot, and up to 1,580 litres of luggage space with the rear seats folded. Starting from £33,970 OTR, the Elroq combines affordability, practicality, and style, with numerous smart features to support families and commuters alike. With a WLTP combined range of up to 274-370 miles, depending on trim and battery, the Elroq allows you to adopt electric with confidence, even for long journeys.

Which Škoda Elroq trim should I choose?

The Škoda UK Elroq range consists of four trim options: Elroq SE L, Elroq Edition, Elroq SportLine, and Elroq vRS. The Elroq SE L is our entry trim, starting from £33,970 OTR, and available with the 60 and 85 battery sizes. The SE L 85 has the joint-highest maximum range within the Elroq family, with up to 370 miles WLTP combined range, and a 1,800kg towing capacity. The Elroq Edition adds more distinctive styling, greater comfort, and additional safety features - ideal for living life in style. The Elroq SportLine offers a sportier look and enhanced specification for a dynamic driving experience, featuring full LED Matrix headlights, 20” Vega black alloy wheels, and gloss-black styling. The SportLine also comes with technology designed to provide ultimate comfort and convenience, including progressive dynamic steering and sports suspension. Finally, the Elroq vRS combines unmissable presence with electrifying performance as the Elroq with the fastest acceleration to date. The vRS also features rich technology as standard, with head-up display, CANTON sound system, area-view camera, and an electric driver’s seat.

Is the Škoda Elroq eligible for the UK Electric Car Grant?

Select Elroq models are eligible for the UK Government Electric Car Grant within Band 2, giving qualifying customers £1,500 off the purchase price. The Elroq SE L 60, SE L 85, Edition 60, Edition 85, SportLine 60, and SportLine 85 are all eligible, subject to the final vehicle purchase price (including options) being less than £42,000. Customers should confirm final grant eligibility with their Škoda Retailer, as grant rules can change and eligibility depends on the exact vehicle configuration.

What is the Škoda Elroq warranty?

The Škoda Elroq comes with Škoda’s new-car warranty structure: the first two years have unlimited mileage cover, followed by a third year of cover as long as total mileage has not exceeded 60,000. Your Elroq also benefits from a 3-year paint warranty and 12-year body protection warranty. Škoda also provides free repair of the high-voltage battery if the damage occurs within 8 years, or before reaching 100,000 miles, (whichever occurs first) from the beginning of the Škoda warranty. Reduction in the capacity of the high-voltage battery over time is a natural feature and does not constitute a defect within the meaning of the Škoda warranty (this is with regards to a natural lock), provided that this value measured by the Škoda service partner does not fall below 70% of the total usable capacity before the expiry of 8 years or before the achievement of 100,000 miles (whichever comes first) from the beginning of the Škoda warranty.

What insurance group is the Škoda Elroq in?

The Škoda Elroq insurance group depends on trim and battery, ranging from 23E to 36E. Elroq SE L 60 is group 23E, the SE L 85 is 30E, the Edition 60 is 24E, the Edition 85 is 31E, the SportLine 60 is 24E, the SportLine 85 is 31E, and the vRS is 36E. Insurance premiums are set by insurers and will also depend on driver profile, address, annual mileage, cover type and other personal rating factors.

The Elroq SportLine is the tallest in the range, at 1,626mm (including roof rails), closely followed by the SE L and Edition trims at 1,625mm, and finally the vRS at 1,618mm high. The wheelbase is 2,765mm for the SE L, Edition, and SportLine trims, and 2,772mm for vRS. These dimensions make the Elroq compact enough for daily urban use while still offering SUV practicality and comfort.

What battery sizes does the Škoda Elroq come in?

The Elroq SE L, Edition, and SportLine all have a choice of two battery sizes: 60 and 85. The Elroq SE L 60, Edition 60, and SportLine 60 use a 61kWh gross / 58kWh net battery, while the 85 versions use an 84kWh gross / 79kWh net battery. The Elroq vRS comes only in one battery size: 82kWh gross / 77kWh net battery capacity, with 250kW output and all-wheel drive.

What is the range of the Škoda Elroq?

The longest-range Škoda Elroq options are the SE L 85 and the Edition 85, which both have up to 370 miles WLTP combined range. The SportLine 85 has up to 364 miles WLTP combined range, while the vRS has up to 344 miles. For versions with the 60 battery, the Elroq SE L 60 and Edition 60 have up to 279 miles WLTP combined range, while the SportLine 60 has up to 274. Real-world range can vary with weather, driving style, load, accessories, wheel choice, and starting battery charge.

How long does the Škoda Elroq take to charge?

AC charging of the Škoda Elroq at 7.2kW / 32 amp to 100% takes around 10 hours for versions with the 60 battery, and around 13 hours for versions with the 85 battery and the Elroq vRS. Minimum DC CCS charging time to 80% is around 26 minutes for the Elroq SE L 60 and Edition 60, and around 29 minutes for the SE L 85, Edition 85, SportLine 60, SportLine 85, and vRS. All Škoda Elroq trims support automatic and manual battery preconditioning. The system preheats the battery before DC charging in low ambient temperatures to help optimise charging speed. It can be started manually from the central infotainment display, or automatically on the way to a charging station using navigation data and battery temperature. Charging times vary depending on temperature, battery state of charge, charger capability, power supply and charging curve. Charging slows after 80% to help protect battery longevity.
