Škoda UK has announced the winners of its 2025 Retailer of the Year (ROTY) Awards, with Vindis Škoda (Bury St Edmunds) recording back-to-back wins to retain its title for 2025. In a remarkable night for the Suffolk-based retailer, Vindis also recorded two major category wins – a first at the Škoda Retailer of the Year Awards.
Vindis Škoda Bury St Edmunds wins Retailer of Year again
At the ceremony, which was attended by retailers from across the network, Škoda UK Brand Director, Eric Boutin, highlighted the brand’s remarkable momentum, including a rise to third place in Europe, the success of the Elroq as the second best‑selling EV across the continent, and the UK’s market share climbing beyond 4%.
The Škoda Retailer of the Year awards acknowledge the ongoing dedication and hard work displayed by the brand’s network of retailers in the past year. As in previous years, retailers fought it out over five key categories which included New Car Sales, Used Car Sales, Fleet Sales, Human Touch and Aftersales.
In taking the Retailer of the Year honour, Vindis Škoda (Bury St Edmunds) saw off tough competition from Wings Škoda (Peterborough) which marked a welcome return to the podium to finish in second place, and RRG Škoda (Bolton) which repeated its third-place finish in last year’s awards.
In what was an incredible year for the retailer, Vindis Škoda (Bury St Edmunds) also topped the Human Touch and Aftersales categories, an unprecedented achievement in the Škoda Retailer of the Year awards.
Other big winners on the night were RRG Škoda (Bolton), which won the New Car Sales category, Johnsons Škoda (Burntwood) which took top spot for Used Car Sales, and Garland Motors Škoda (Aldershot) which was won the Fleet Sales award. Vindis Škoda (Bury St Edmunds) dominated the customer-focused categories, securing both Human Touch and Aftersales awards.
The event also commended the six Škoda Challenge 2025 finalists who will represent the UK at the International finals in Krakow, Poland later this year. The Škoda Challenge recognises the biggest talents in the brand’s Sales and Aftersales network.
