Škoda Auto continues to build on its long-standing all-wheel-drive heritage and currently offers customers its broadest 4x4 portfolio across a wide range of segments: from the Octavia and Superb, through the Karoq and Kodiaq SUVs, to the all-electric Elroq and Enyaq models. State-of-the-art all-wheel-drive technology improves traction, stability, safety and comfort by supporting driving dynamics in demanding conditions, for example on wet roads, snow and unpaved surfaces.

Škoda Motorsport’s legacy dates back to 1901, when it started with motorcycle racing events. In the present day, victories and titles are fought for and won in in the WRC2 category of the FIA World Rally Championship, the FIA European Rally Championship and other regional and national rally series. To celebrate its 125 years anniversary, Škoda Motorsport is equipping each new Škoda Fabia RS Rally2 sold to customers with additional features for the anniversary year.

Škoda is adding a special limited-edition model to its award-winning Kodiaq line-up. The new Kodiaq Edition X marks 10 years since the unveiling of the SUV that helped transform Škoda into the brand it is today. The new model, which features a value-packed standard specification, celebrates the ongoing success of Škoda’s flagship SUV, which has sat at the top of the brand’s product line-up since its introduction in 2016. Priced at £40,590 OTR (P11D £39,995), the new Kodiaq Edition X sits below the Government Expensive Car Supplement threshold, meaning even lower running costs for owners.

Škoda has updated the infotainment systems of its all-electric Enyaq (with software 4.0 and higher) and Elroq models, adding new on-board entertainment features: the AirConsole gaming platform, the Škoda Play video service offering personalised news and learning content from a wide range of authorised partners, and native Spotify integration.

Škoda is celebrating 25 years of vRS in the UK, marking a quarter century of performance models that have shaped the brand’s modern identity.

Škoda Auto will unveil its all-new, all-electric Epiq in the first half of this year.

Škoda has secured a remarkable six category wins in the annual Diesel&EcoCar Used Car Top 50 awards. The Enyaq, Octavia, Superb and Kodiaq were all named as the best in their sectors, with no fewer than seven Škoda models appearing in the top 15.

In 2025, 1,065,000 Škoda cars were produced worldwide, representing a year-on-year increase of 15%. In addition, the carmaker built more than 329,000 battery systems for Škoda electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles, as well as for other Volkswagen Group models, along with more than 1,030,000 transmissions and over 500,000 engines.

Building on the an already impressive collection of industry accolades the Škoda Elroq has added another major honour to its name by being crowned Best Medium Crossover at the 2026 UK Car of the Year Awards. Judges commended the Elroq for its refined driving dynamics, clever interior packaging and outstanding overall value, noting how convincingly it leads its class.

Škoda has secured another impressive raft of category wins and coveted Best Buy awards at the annual What Car? Awards. The Superb claimed back its Estate Car of the Year title after a two-year hiatus, while the Scala, Elroq and Kodiaq were all recognised for their unbeatable qualities and value for money.

Škoda Auto India has introduced the updated Kushaq in the key Indian market. Featuring segment-first technologies – including an all-new eight-speed torque-converter automatic transmission and a Rear Seat Massage function – together with additional features and standard equipment, the model follows Škoda Auto India’s principle of making European engineering more accessible on Indian roads. The updated Kushaq builds on the success of its predecessor, which sold more than 94,900 units and is exported to growth markets such as Vietnam, the Middle East, and Africa. 

Having already scooped a host of awards in 2025, the Elroq has started its 2026 collection with top honours in the annual Company Car & Van of the Year Awards.

Škoda Auto delivered 1,043,900 vehicles to customers worldwide (+12.7%), recording its strongest sales performance in the past six years. In Europe (EU 27+4), Škoda delivered 836,200 vehicles (+9.9%), for the first time becoming the third best-selling car brand in its core market. A key driver of this performance was the success of Škoda’s BEV and PHEV models: one in four Škoda models (25.7%) were delivered with a plug. Additionally, strong demand for the Elroq and Enyaq lifted Škoda to fourth place among Europe’s electric vehicle manufacturers.

Following last year’s 130th-anniversary celebrations, Škoda Auto will mark a series of anniversaries in 2026, recognising key moments and model lines from both its early years and recent history: Škoda Motorsport turns 125, it is 35 years since the Czech carmaker joined the Volkswagen Group, and the modern-era Octavia celebrates its 30th birthday.

Škoda’s remarkable growth in the UK continued in 2025 with the Czech brand once again outperforming the new car market to set new records across both retail and True Fleet channels. The brand also recorded a record full-year market share, successfully increasing on the previous best figures set in 2024.

In spring 2022, Škoda introduced its new Modern Solid design language with the Vision 7S concept. The concept clearly signposted the brand’s future direction, shaped by sustainability, functional design and cutting-edge technology. It also provided an outlook on a future all-electric 7-seater production model. Škoda’s new flagship will celebrate its world premiere in summer 2026, and its name reflects its position at the top of the Czech car manufacturer’s portfolio: ‘Peaq’.

Škoda is set to end the year with another Car of the Year award. The Czech brand’s mid-size all-electric SUV has added to its remarkable haul of industry titles by topping The Car Expert’s list of the best cars for 2026.

Few automotive brands can draw on as much history as Škoda. Landmark cars of the past such as the original 1950s Octavia and the 1930s Superb have provided a constant source of inspiration for Škoda’s design teams developing and refining their modern counterparts. Now, Škoda is shining a modern spotlight on another milestone from its past with the reveal of a new, all-electric reinterpretation of the Škoda 100 – the brand’s first ever million selling model.

Škoda Auto has produced 100,000 units of the all-electric Elroq since its launch earlier this year. The milestone car is an Elroq vRS in Hyper Green. As the first model with Škoda’s Modern Solid design, it’s built on a flexible line alongside the Enyaq and Octavia, enabling EV and ICE production. The Elroq ranks second among Europe’s best-selling BEVs in 2025 and has earned major awards, including the Red Dot Design Award and ‘German Car of the Year 2026’, highlighting strong demand for Škoda’s electric SUVs.

Škoda Auto is advancing its internationalisation strategy by entering the fast-growing Saudi Arabian market in partnership with SAMACO Motors, which has represented other Volkswagen Group brands in the country for more than 15 years. The portfolio includes the Octavia hatchback and the Kushaq, Karoq and Kodiaq SUVs. The Superb hatchback and estate will follow soon. In 2026, Škoda will introduce the Slavia compact saloon. Retail sites will open in Jeddah, Al Khobar, and Riyadh.

Škoda is expanding its award-winning Kodiaq range with the introduction of a new flagship L&K model. Named after brand founders Václav Laurin and Václav Klement, the new edition builds on the success of its predecessor and once again offers one of the most comprehensive specification lists in the Škoda line-up.

Škoda Auto posted strong results in Q1–Q3 2025: revenue rose to €22.344B (+9.5%), operating profit to €1.790B (+5.4%), and net cash flow reached €1.934B (–2.8%). RoS held steady at 8.0%. Global deliveries hit 765,700 units (+14.1%), with 616,300 in Europe, securing 3rd place. BEV/PHEV share rose to 24.1% (2024: 11.1%), led by Elroq and Enyaq. Elroq surpassed 100K orders. India saw record growth (+106.1%), and Vietnam began production of Kushaq and Slavia.

Škoda Auto is an official partner of the Bolero UCI Gravel World Championships for the first time. Held this weekend in Limburg, the fourth edition unites elite pros and amateur riders on the same course. Škoda is supporting the event with seven electrified vehicles, including five Enyaqs and showcasing the all-electric Elroq trackside. Visitors can enjoy a full programme, including the mobile café in the Elroq. The partnership reflects Škoda’s commitment to cycling and active lifestyles across Europe and global markets.

Škoda is marking 130 years of innovation and performance with a special addition to its line-up: the Fabia 130. Building on the specification of the current Monte Carlo variant, the special-edition model is Škoda’s fastest series-produced Fabia model to date with an output of 177 PS and a top speed 142 mph.

The Elroq and Enyaq have been transformed into mobile cafés – the Škoda Coffee Cars – from which fans along the Tour de France route were served more than 15,000 cups of coffee.

The Škoda Museum in Mladá Boleslav is celebrating its 30th anniversary. Since its opening in 1995, it has showcased a plenty of unique historic vehicles, hosted many themed exhibitions and welcomed more than four million visitors.

Škoda’s all-electric models have added to their growing collection of industry titles with two more victories in the annual What Car? Electric Car Awards. Continuing its remarkable winning streak, the new Elroq was named Best Electric Family SUV, while the Enyaq won the Best Used Electric Family SUV award.

Škoda is set to deliver a double bonus for customers with the addition of a new long-range model to the award-winning Elroq line-up along with official confirmation of models eligible for the Band 2 £1,500 UK Government’s Electric Car Grant (ECG)‡. Announced in July, the Government scheme gives buyers instant savings on eligible EVs and marks a further step in Škoda’s drive to make electric motoring more accessible and affordable for UK drivers.

Škoda has revisited one of the most characterful cars in its history, unveiling a contemporary reimagining of the classic Felicia Fun pick-up. The new design study, developed by French stylist Julien Petitseigneur, channels the spirit of the late 1990s cult model while incorporating Škoda’s Modern Solid design language.

Škoda Auto is an official partner of the UCI Mountain Bike World Championships for the first time this year. The event runs from 30 August to 14 September across seven venues in Valais, Switzerland. Škoda is supplying 13 electrified vehicles and designing the ‘hot seat’ for downhill race leaders. A glance at the sleekly styled rear of the estate model underlines the clear focus on aerodynamics. With the Vision O concept, Škoda Auto reinforces its leadership in the European estate segment and boldly sets a new course of innovation for future models.

Škoda Auto took part in the 15th Prague Pride Festival for the 4th consecutive year and, for the first time, served as the event’s main partner. More than 100 employees joined workshops and the main parade. Colleagues from partner organisations 42 Prague, Digiteq Automotive and Škoda Auto University also marched alongside the Škoda team. Festival-goers were able to view the Elroq Respectline, a car celebrating mutual respect, diversity and inclusion. In June this dedication earned the company the Pride Business Forum’s Award in Bronze category for LGBTQ+ Friendly Employer.

This year, Škoda Auto again served as the official main partner of the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift, the largest women’s cycling event. In addition to the year-round vehicle fleet provided to the organiser A.S.O., the Czech carmaker supplied a fleet of 32 electrified Enyaq and Superb iV vehicles. Also, Škoda Design created the green crystal trophy for the winner of the points classification, Lorena Wiebes. The 2025 staging saw 154 riders in 22 teams compete over nine stages and 1,165 kilometres – the longest route in the event’s history.

Škoda UK is offering a £1,500 ‘Grant Guarantee’^‡ from 1 August, giving customers a saving when they order selected Elroq and Enyaq SUV models^* by 31 August and take delivery with the new ‘75’ plate from 1 September 2025. The initiative, which covers 11 models in Škoda’s award-winning line-up (excluding Enyaq Coupé), ensures that customers benefit from a lower price, ahead of the Government confirming eligibility for its recently-announced Electric Car Grant.
