Škoda is renaming one of the UK’s most significant national parks to mark the introduction of the new all-electric Peaq. For one week only, the park will become the Peaq District, encouraging staycationers to explore the UK’s outdoor spaces after research revealed that nearly a third of people (29%) have never visited one of its national parks.

The 113th Tour de France gets under way on Saturday with the Grand Départ in Barcelona, Spain. The Peaq SUV will serve as Race Director Christian Prudhomme’s ‘Red Car’ on 12 of the 21 stages. For the remaining stages, he will use a Superb iV plug-in hybrid as his mobile command centre.

Škoda has continued its remarkable winning streak at the Auto Express New Car Awards by taking no fewer than three coveted category wins. The Superb, Elroq and Kodiaq were recognised as the very best in their respective sectors, with the Kodiaq recording its seventh win in nine years.

Today, Škoda Auto will present its new flagship, the all-electric seven-seater Peaq, in Monnetier-Mornex, France. For fans of the brand worldwide, the company will stream the reveal live from 18:25 CEST.

Škoda Auto has unveiled interior design sketches of its all-new electric seven-seater flagship, the Škoda Peaq. The illustrations show a cabin that combines generous space and clean architecture and provides a lounge-like atmosphere shaped by comfortable materials and an intuitive user interface. The world premiere will take place in Monnetier-Mornex, France, on 23 June 2026 at 18:25.

Škoda Auto has appointed Chris Froome, one of the world’s most successful road cyclists, as an international Brand Cycling Ambassador. The renowned rider will take part in a range of Škoda cycling activities, including those around the upcoming Tour de France. He will make his first appearance in his new role at the world premiere of the all-new electric Škoda Peaq on 23 June.

The Škoda Enyaq has added to its remarkable tally of industry accolades by taking the Best Car for Running Costs award at the annual Auto Trader Drivers’ Choice Awards. The award, which was voted for by owners, highlights the Enyaq’s exceptional efficiency, long driving range and value for money – qualities that Škoda buyers have come to expect.
