The Škoda Epiq is a compact, five-seat, fully electric SUV crossover designed around everyday life. The Epiq is 4.171 metres long, combining city-friendly proportions with a 475-litre boot, a 13-inch infotainment display and a maximum WLTP electric driving range of up to 272 miles. The Epiq embodies Škoda’s Modern Solid design language and is both the first Škoda built on the MEB+ platform and the brand’s first fully electric front-wheel-drive model. The Škoda Epiq opened for orders in the UK in July 2026. The first Škoda Epiq models available to order in the UK were the Epiq SE L 55, Epiq Edition 55 and Epiq First Edition 55 – all equipped with a 55kWh battery, which is the larger of the two batteries available for the car. Orders for the Epiq SE L 40 and Epiq Edition 40 – equipped with the smaller 38kWh battery – are expected to open later this year. Customer deliveries of all Škoda Epiq models are expected to begin in early 2027, but customers should confirm exact timing with their Škoda retailer.

The Škoda Epiq starts from £24,950 OTR (On The Road) for the Epiq SE L 40 model. The Epiq Edition 40 model is priced from £27,700 OTR. Prices for the Epiq 55 range start at £27,700 OTR for the SE L 55 model, followed by £30,450 OTR for the Edition 55 model and £31,450 OTR for the First Edition 55 model. The Epiq 55 models are also eligible for the £1,500 UK Electric Car Grant, which is automatically applied to the purchase price by the retailer. Yes. The Škoda Epiq is a fully electric, battery-powered car with no petrol or diesel engine. It uses a single-speed transmission and front-wheel drive and has 0g/km tailpipe CO₂ emissions. The Epiq 40 models have 37kWh usable (net) battery capacity, while the Epiq 55 models have 52kWh usable (net) battery capacity. The Škoda Epiq has a maximum combined WLTP electric driving range of up to 272 miles. That figure applies to the Epiq SE L 55, while the Epiq Edition 55 offers up to 270 miles of range. The actual range will vary according to factors such as temperature, driving style, vehicle load, wheel choice, accessories and the battery’s starting charge level.

The Škoda Epiq 55 can charge from 10% to 80% capacity in approximately 24 minutes when connected to a suitable DC rapid charger under appropriate conditions. It supports a peak DC charging rate of 105kW. For charging the Škoda Epiq at home, Type 2 connectivity is provided for AC charging, which will replenish the battery fully with an overnight charge of around six hours. Actual charging time for the Škoda Epiq (like all electric cars) will depend on the charger, available power supply, ambient temperature, battery temperature, battery condition and starting state of charge. Charging slows as the battery approaches a high state of charge to help protect battery longevity.

The Škoda Epiq is 4,171mm long, 1,798mm wide and 1,581mm high, including its roof rails. Its width increases to 2,000mm when the exterior mirrors are included. Yes, selected Škoda Epiq 55 models are eligible for Band 2 of the UK Electric Car Grant, which amounts to a £1,500 grant towards purchase. The eligible models are the Epiq SE L 55, Epiq Edition 55 and Epiq First Edition 55. To qualify, the vehicle must be new, registered in the UK and have a final purchase price – including options – of less than £42,000. The £1,500 discount is applied automatically by the Škoda retailer at the point of order, so customers do not need to submit a separate claim. The government can withdraw eligibility and/or funding for the grant at any time.

The Škoda Epiq has smart features designed to make daily driving simpler, safer and more connected. The Škoda Epiq’s technology includes a 13-inch central infotainment display, a 5.3-inch Digital Cockpit, wireless SmartLink with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto for connecting your phone, predictive adaptive cruise control with traffic-jam assist, rear parking sensors and connected services through the MyŠkoda app. The MyŠkoda app can be used for functions such as monitoring charging, setting charging times and preparing the cabin temperature before a journey. Depending on the exact Škoda Epiq model chosen, additional features include satellite navigation, wireless phone charging, front parking sensors, a rear-view camera, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, keyless entry, a Mobile Digital Key and Travel Assist Plus.
