Škoda currently offers two 7-seater family cars: the Škoda Kodiaq and the all-new Škoda Peaq. The Škoda Kodiaq is a mid-sized SUV available with petrol and mild-hybrid engines, seating up to 7 across three rows with a boot capacity of 340 litres with all seats in use, expanding to 2,035 litres with all rear seats folded. The Škoda Peaq is Škoda’s largest model – a fully electric 7-seat SUV with a WLTP range of over 391 miles. The Škoda Peaq offers 299 litres of boot space with all 7 seats up, or 890 litres with the third row folded. Both the Škoda Kodiaq and Škoda Peaq feature three-row seating, ISOFIX points, and flexible configurations for families of all sizes.

The Škoda Peaq is Škoda’s largest model ever. At approximately 4.9 metres in length, the Škoda Peaq is a fully electric, 7-seat flagship SUV that sits at the very top of the Škoda range. In five-seat mode, the Škoda Peaq provides up to 935 litres of boot space — the biggest of any Škoda model – while the 7-seat configuration offers 299 litres with all rows occupied. The Škoda Peaq also has an additional 37-litre front storage compartment as well as the main boot. The Škoda Superb Estate, at 4.9 metres long, is Škoda’s largest non-7-seat family car and one of the most spacious cars in its class.

For long motorway journeys, the Škoda Superb and Škoda Peaq are the standout choices. The Škoda Superb is praised by reviewers for exceptional practicality and long-distance ability, with a large, refined interior and low road noise on the motorway. For electric long-distance driving, the Škoda Peaq 90 delivers a WLTP range of over 391 miles and supports rapid DC charging at up to 200 kW, adding meaningful charge in as little as 28 minutes. The electric Škoda Enyaq is also well-suited to motorway family life, with a WLTP range of up to 359 miles.

The Škoda Superb and Škoda Peaq lead the range for interior quality. The Škoda Superb has consistently earned praise for its premium-feeling cabin, with high-quality materials, generous rear legroom, and a well-designed dashboard featuring Škoda’s Smart Dials interface. The Škoda Peaq’s cabin combines generous space and clean architecture, providing a lounge-like atmosphere shaped by comfortable materials and an intuitive user interface, with a redesigned dashboard featuring a vertical infotainment display. The Škoda Kodiaq also delivers a high-quality interior for a mid-sized SUV, with a 13-inch touchscreen navigation system, configurable dials, and smart storage throughout. The Škoda Kodiaq 2.0 TDI diesel returns up to 51.9 mpg WLTP combined, with CO2 emissions of 143 g/km, and comes with a 3-year/60,000-mile manufacturer warranty plus a 12-year anti-corrosion guarantee. The Škoda Peaq is a fully electric family SUV, with its battery covered by an 8-year/100,000-mile warranty, alongside the 3-year general vehicle warranty. The Škoda Superb is available as a plug-in hybrid capable of up to 85 electric miles per charge, which can significantly reduce fuel spend for drivers who charge regularly. Across all models, Škoda’s scheduled service plans are available to keep maintenance costs predictable from year one.
