At Škoda, we love dogs and we know that choosing the right car for your dog is as important as choosing the right car for your family. That is why we have partnered with key dog charities and organisations to support their invaluable work and promote important safety tips for travelling with dogs in cars.

Škoda is the official automotive partner of Crufts 2024

We are proud to have officially partnered with Crufts again for 2024. At our stand this year, we gave all visitors the chance to see our latest, dog-friendly Škoda cars, which were fully equipped with accessories to guarantee a safer and more comfortable journey for you and your dog.

Dogs for Good partnership

We have partnered up with Dogs for Good, an amazing charity that brings people and dogs together to help make life possible for people with a range of disabilities.

Dogs for Good staff are always out and about, from driving dogs to training sessions, taking them home to their volunteer families, visiting puppies in their volunteer homes or taking Community Dogs to support sessions for disabled people. So, we have donated two Škoda Kamiqs to support and expand their vital work.

Check out our Happy Hounds Spotify playlist

by Anna Webb and Škoda

Many dogs struggle with travelling in the car and get stressed in and around automobiles. To celebrate its sponsorship of Crufts 2023, Škoda is working with canine behavioural expert Anna Webb to help relieve this stress by creating a Spotify playlist, named Happy Hounds, specifically curated to soothe anxious dogs on car journeys.

The music on this playlist will be scientifically proven to relieve a dog’s anxiety in the car, thanks to its slow BPM (beats per minute), calming tones and repetition. It will be supported by science and Anna’s expertise after 20 years in the business.

Crufts

Crufts is the largest, internationally recognised dog show held annually in the UK. Organised by the Kennel Club, the show celebrates every aspect of the role dogs play in our lives. The competition attracts over 20,000 dogs competing for the coveted title of Best in Show as well as international agility, flyball and obedience events. The visitors can also explore the trade show, which is centred around dog related goods and services and where you will also be able to meet team Škoda!

Dogs for Good

Dogs for Good is an incredible charity created to bring people and dogs together to help make life possible. The highly skilled staff spend their days training dogs to help people affected by disability, autism, dementia and other conditions and mental health challenges to live happier, healthier and more independent lives.

BorrowMyDoggy

Founded in 2012, BorrowMyDoggy connects dog owners with trusted local people who would love to look after their dog. They make it easy to arrange walks, playtime, overnight stays or holidays. The aim is to help dog owners when they need it, give dogs more exercise and playtime, and to allow people without a dog to spend quality time with one.
