Škoda has added two striking new paint colours to the Octavia vRS range – all thanks to the voice of its fans. Following a public vote hosted across Škoda’s official X and Instagram accounts, Space Violet and Water World Green came out on top as the most popular colour options among hundreds of voters.

Škoda UK has developed a new addition to its award-winning Enyaq range in the form of a commercial Cargo variant. The new model, which has been developed with conversion specialists Strongs Plastic Products Ltd, will be available exclusively to fleet customers via Škoda’s Area Fleet Managers.

Škoda Auto has taken another significant step toward future-proofing its main plant in Mladá Boleslav by laying the foundation stone for an advanced paint shop. Scheduled to open in 2029, the facility will have a daily capacity of up to 1,600 units. The state-of-the-art facility will utilise automation, robotics, and advanced technologies to enhance the quality of each protective coating applied. Capable of painting vehicles built on both internal combustion (ICE) and electric platforms, the facility will significantly enhance operational efficiency and flexibility.

The tenth Škoda Student Car sees 28 trainees writing another chapter in the history of the Škoda Academy in Mladá Boleslav. The Škoda L&K 130 and its special colour scheme pay homage to company founders Václav Laurin and Václav Klement, who started by building bicycles 130 years ago. The one-off model is the first Student Car to be based on the Škoda Superb Estate model. Škoda Auto is launching the vRS range-topper six months after the world premiere of the all-new Škoda Elroq, which competes in the popular electric compact SUV segment. The latest member of the vRS family has two motors generating a total system output of 340 PS (250 kW) and is equipped with all-wheel drive. The Škoda Elroq vRS comes with an electric range of 339 miles on the WLTP cycle, specific vRS accessories and comprehensive standard equipment. It is also the fastest accelerating car in Škoda’s current model portfolio, sprinting from 0 to 62 mph in 5.4 seconds.
