Škoda turns over a new digital leaf with Readly partnership

5. listopadu 2024

Škoda is partnering with digital newspaper and magazine reading app Readly to offer owners free access to the brand’s extensive library of content. The partnership, which gives Škoda owners two months of free reading on the Readly app, is the first of its kind in the automotive market.

The offer will be available to both new Škoda customers and those who have purchased a new model within the last four years. Customers also need a compatible online infotainment system with a display larger than nine inches. Owners can check the eligibility of their car by clicking on this link: https://availability.skoda-auto.com/004/en-com#/childservice/16/64.

To take advantage of the deal, which gives owners unlimited access to Readly’s library of 7,700 digital magazines and newspapers, owners need to scan a QR code shown in the Offers menu of their vehicle’s infotainment system. Once scanned, owners will use their smartphone or tablet to access a Readly landing page where they can start their free access. After the two-month free period has expired, owners can opt to pay for a full subscription (£12.99 per month) or cancel.

The Offers infotainment app is fully integrated into Škoda’s in-car system and is activated with just a few clicks on the screen followed by an email confirmation. Designed to inform owners of offers and deals in their area, they can help drivers save money and bag bargains while on their journeys. Although the offer is activated via the infotainment screen, owners will only be able to access content via their smartphone or tablet.
