The next step in ŠKODA's design language
Improved engine range that delivers lower emissions
Up to 1,395 litres of boot space
Dynamic, sophisticated and confident on the road, the third generation Octavia Estate is perfect for business, busy lifestyles and family life. Our best seller, the Octavia Estate offers unrivalled space, functionality and fuel efficiency, at exceptional value for money.
It is 90mm longer and 45mm wider than its predecessor and the wheelbase has grown by almost 11cm, which means even more space inside the car. And by folding the rear seats down, the boot space can be increased further to an impressive 1,740 litres.
ŠKODA engineers have also given the latest generation Octavia Estate a whole host of innovative safety and comfort systems. Depending on your choice of trim level, you’ll benefit from Automatic Post-Collision Brake, Driver Fatigue Sensor, Crew Protection Assistant and Lane Assistant.
Enjoy that extra visibility and feeling of space. Available on SE, SE L, Laurin & Klement, vRS and Scout trims, the ŠKODA single piece panoramic sunroof can slide or tilt to create a bright and airy interior climate. There’s also a windscreen to reduce noise and direct airflow into the interior, and a sunscreen to shelter the interior from bright sunlight.
Upgrading your trim level to SE, SE L or GreenLine will give you the chance to add our adaptive headlight system to your new Octavia. Bi-xenon headlights with AFS (Adaptive Frontlight System) provide different shaped beams of light depending on the car's speed and the weather — maintaining road visibility whilst keeping you and other drivers safe. Laurin & Klement trim comes with bi-xenon headlights as standard.
Elegant and refined interior
Clarity and precision are a recurring theme in all aspects of the interior — elegant horizontal lines, generous amounts of space, and a bold, refined dashboard rail that gives the driver a clear and optimised view of the instruments.
Electronically operated boot door
An electronically controlled boot door is available as an optional upgrade on all trim levels — at the touch of a button the boot will automatically open, and the system also features boot lift pre-sets, which allows you to set the boots opening height.

The 3rd generation Octavia comes with a host of cutting edge safety systems. The Automatic Post Collision Braking System brakes the car after an impact to prevent any uncontrolled movement, reducing the risk of further crashes. The system will brake the car to 6mph and also activate the hazard warning lights. The Driver fatigue sensor will alert the driver to take a break from the road, reducing the risk of accidents caused by tiredness.
Upgrade your Octavia Estate with the smart Park assist function. With the press of a button, the system will begin searching for a parking space in a line of cars or other obstacles, so both parallel and bay parking are quick and easy.
The Octavia Estate is perfect for transporting long items such as ladders and timber, things that you’d normally need a van for. It’s possible to fold down your Octavia’s front passenger seat completely for that extra bit of room. This great feature is available as an option on the SE trim.
Sometimes you want a boot that allows you to slide in a heavy load straight from the shopping trolley. Sometimes you want a deeper boot to carry something extra tall or wide, and sometimes you want to hide away your roll cover or roof rack without it interfering with the rest of your luggage. Thankfully the ŠKODA Octavia Estate has a variable boot floor (standard on SE L and Laurin & Klement, optional on SE, vRS and Scout), which enables you to do all three.
The all-new infotainment system on the Octavia Estate puts an entire multimedia system right at your fingertips. The car stereo, navigation system and trip computer are no longer standalone devices — but are all wrapped up in one. Proximity sensors recognise when your hand is moving toward the touchscreen to bring up the system’s functions, whilst intuitive swiping and pinching movements allow you to scroll menus and zoom into maps easily.
