Starting in June 2016 we launched the EA189 Service Action. In the meantime, the technical measures have been developed for all affected ŠKODA vehicles and have been approved by the Vehicle Certification Agency of the United Kingdom. Currently we are able to start the implementation of the technical measure for the remaining customers.
To determine if the affected software has been installed in your vehicle, please visit your ŠKODA authorized partner, call your regional ŠKODA Diesel-Hotline, or complete an instant online inquiry at ŠKODA Diesel Campaign app.
We would like to assure you that the trust of our customers and the public is and will remain our most important asset. We deeply regret that this situation has arisen. The important thing for our customers to know is that all vehicles are safe and roadworthy. We take full responsibility for the costs of the implementation of the necessary technical measures.
Thank you for your understanding.
Please note: we can only give information about ŠKODA.
