Elroq SE L 85 joins the Grant-Eligible models confirmed

Škoda is set to deliver a double bonus for customers with the addition of a new long-range model to the award-winning Elroq line-up along with official confirmation of models eligible for the Band 2 £1,500 UK Government’s Electric Car Grant (ECG)‡. Announced in July, the Government scheme gives buyers instant savings on eligible EVs and marks a further step in Škoda’s drive to make electric motoring more accessible and affordable for UK drivers.

To further maximise value for buyers, Škoda is introducing a new model to the Elroq line-up that allows buyers to access the longest-range battery option for less. The new Elroq SE L 85 features an 82kWh (77kWh usable) battery that delivers a WLTP combined driving range of up to 355 miles.

Launched earlier this year, the Elroq is Škoda’s second all-electric model to be built on the Volkswagen Group’s MEB platform. The Elroq competes in the compact SUV segment – one of the biggest and most competitive in the automotive sector, and has already enjoyed considerable sales and critical success. The model topped UK battery electric vehicle (BEV) sales in July 2025 and, in the same month, earned the title of Car of the Year from Auto Express. The Elroq has a WLTP combined driving range of up to 356 miles (Elroq Edition 85), rapid charging speeds of less than 28 minutes on a rapid DC fast charger, and incorporates the brand’s new Modern Solid design language.

With Government confirmation now in place, Škoda customers can instantly save £1,500+ on selected trims from its award-winning electric line-up. This will be automatically applied at point of purchase, with no requirement for Škoda customers to complete any paperwork or take additional steps.

The new Škoda Elroq is available from £31,710 OTR for the Elroq SE 50, or £30,210 with the ECG discount applied. Most derivatives in the Elroq range qualify for the ECG, with the exception of the range-topping Elroq vRS. The new Elroq SE L 85 gives customers the opportunity to access extra driving range of the largest 82kWh (77kWh usable) battery, while keeping the price to just £35,560 OTR (including the ECG discount of £1,500).

Derivatives in the recently updated Enyaq range are also eligible for the ECG discount of £1,500. Škoda’s first purpose-built electric car made its debut in the UK in 2021 and has been the brand’s flagship BEV model since. Fully updated earlier this year with a bold new look and improved performance and efficiency, it continues to set sector benchmarks for practicality, value and comfort.

The following Škoda models qualify for the ECG:

Elroq

Enyaq

^ OTR price includes First Registration Fee (FRF), Vehicle Excise Duty (VED) and delivery costs

To qualify for the Government’s ECG, Škoda was required to meet criteria relating to environmental impact (among others) - something the brand already builds into its manufacturing process. Sustainability is an indispensable element of Škoda’s corporate long-term success and firmly anchored in its transformation strategy. Škoda is continuously incorporating innovative and sustainable materials into all of its products, and is also applying the principles of circular economy, considering waste as a resource, in close cooperation with its partners.
