ŠKODA and cycling
ŠKODA’s heritage with bicycles dates back to the start of the company in 1895 when the founders Vaclav Laurin and Vaclav Klement joined forces and began manufacturing bicycles in their home town of Mlada Boleslav in the Czech Republic.
Cycling has remained an important area for ŠKODA to support over the years – worldwide we are a partner of the famous Tour de France, Giro d’Italia and the Road World Championship organised by the International Cycling Federation (UCI).
In the UK, ŠKODA are very excited about our partnerships with two UK teams this year – Rapha Condor JLT and Matrix Fitness Race Academy, as well as being official vehicle partner to both the Tour of Britain and the new Olympic Legacy festival of cycling: Prudential RideLondon.

Our love of cycling is evident in our cars. All of the cars in our range, from Citigo to Superb, can be fitted to accommodate the needs of a cyclist. We offer external bike carriers on all of our cars, so you can take your bike anywhere. If you have a Yeti, Roomster or any of our Estate cars, we can also fit your ŠKODA with an internal bike holder fitted to protect any particularly precious sets of wheels from the elements as you drive.
We also have a range of ŠKODA bicycles available for purchase to fill your bike holder. Adult bikes start from £750. Contact your
local ŠKODA retailer for more information.
