What is it?

We are super excited to be part of a great new TV show, Tour de Celeb. It’ll launch on Channel 5 on Monday 28 November at 7pm, and will definitely be one you don’t want to miss.

8 celebrities have just 3 months to prepare for the toughest physical and mental challenge on television (as well as in the amateur sporting world), racing against each other in two teams on L’Étape du Tour.

Since April each of our celebrities have been on a regime to prepare them physically and mentally for the task ahead. They will be placed in teams and will pit themselves against each other to come out victorious.

With the help of some pro cyclists, they’ll train hard to be the team that is named winners of Tour de Celeb.

L'Étape du Tour

L'Étape du Tour (French for 'stage of the Tour') is an organised mass participation cyclosportive event that allows amateur cyclists to race over the same route as a Tour de France stage. First held in 1993, it takes place each July, normally on a Tour rest day.

L'Étape du Tour is 145km of strength-sapping climbs and hair-raising descents. Even the very best cyclists struggle to conquer the French Alps, so how will our plucky eight celebrities fare, when some of them have never even been on a bike before. It will definitely be one to watch.

Allow yourself to be a beginner. No one starts off being excellent.
