Delighted ŠKODA Drivers Secure Gold, Silver and Bronze in the 2014 Auto Express Driver Power Customer Satisfaction Survey

ŠKODA has confirmed its position as the nation’s most satisfying car brand with a fourth successive overall victory in the annual Auto Express Driver Power customer satisfaction survey. ŠKODA also triumphed in five model categories, making it the most successful brand in the 2014 survey. ​​​
Milton Keynes, 23rd April 2014 - The 2014 Auto Express Driver Power survey attracted 50,000 respondents who were asked to judge their car in a number of key areas, from ride quality to practicality. The ŠKODA Yeti recorded the highest satisfaction score in the entire survey (92.78%), repeating its victory in 2013, with the Citigo (92.62%) and Superb (91.68%) completing a clean sweep of the top three positions.

Adding to ŠKODA’s unprecedented achievements were five category victories, with the Yeti named Best Off-Roader / SUV, the Citigo named Best Supermini / City Car, and the Superb named Best Family Car. The Citigo also finished top of the table for Running Costs, while the Yeti was judged by readers to be the best for Ease of Driving.

The Yeti’s back-to-back victories in the Auto Express Driver Power customer satisfaction survey makes it one of ŠKODA’s most decorated models. To date it has won more than 25 industry, media and customer satisfaction awards, including Auto Express Car of the Year (2010), Top Gear Family Car of the Year (2010) and Honest John Car of the Year (2011). ​​

The ŠKODA Live Tour has racked up an impressive first year of results and the car manufacturer has announced that it will continue to explore new ways of using the technology. More than 2,000 online tours have been taken in the digital showroom, with three-quarters of users completely new customers to the brand.
ŠKODA has once again proved itself to be the brand to beat by dominating the 2018 DieselCar and EcoCar Top 50. The Czech brand was named as class winner in no fewer than four key categories and topped more sectors than any other manufacturer in the influential annual chart.
Motoring review site Honest John has named the ŠKODA KODIAQ its overall 2018 Car of the Year – adding another trophy to the Czech SUV’s remarkable collection. In addition to awarding the KODIAQ its highest honour, Honest John website visitors also named the SUPERB as its Family Car of the Year for the second year in succession.
ŠKODA AUTO continues its growth course. Never before has the Czech traditional brand achieved such a strong result in terms of sales revenue, deliveries and operating profit between January and March. The manufacturer delivered 316,700 vehicles worldwide (+ 11.7%). Operating profit increased by 5.3% to 437 million euros in the same period, while sales revenue increased by 4.9% to 4.5 billion euros.
ŠKODA owners can check the status of their car with just their voice thanks to the integration of ŠKODA Connect and Amazon’s Alexa virtual personal assistant. The technology works across all devices equipped with Alexa Voice Services and allows owners to interact with their vehicles on a completely new level.
