A taste for adventure. A taste for comfort. Both will give you a taste for glamping, as well as for the New ŠKODA Kodiaq – and we know just the spot to head for.

In woodland close to the pretty town of Holt in North Norfolk, you’ll feel close to nature from the moment you wake up to birdsong and step outside to see the sun streaming through the canopy of leaves. Weather permitting, of course.
It’s a wonderful setting in which to reconnect with friends and family. Walk, play, chill out, catch up – just do your own thing. But do make sure you head into Holt itself at some point.
If the younger members of your party show little interest in the art galleries and antique shops in the courtyards and alleyways, they’ll love the steam railway that connects the town with Sheringham on the coast. It’s not just a journey towards the beach, but a journey back in time.
Recommended near-by locations…
As so often, this is as much about the road travelled as the destination.
The route along the stunning North Norfolk coastline, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, takes you past a series of nature reserves featuring vast, unspoilt beaches, reed beds and salt marshes. Stop for a spot of bird-watching or even seal-spotting – this is a chance to get close to creatures you’d never normally encounter.
Or if your taste for comfort and luxury kicks in, stop at one of the many Michelin-recognised cafés, restaurants or gastropubs along the way.
When you reach Sandringham House, privately owned by the Queen, you’ll find nature and sophistication combined in the grounds of the estate. Ordered walkways lead through formal flower beds in the North Garden, while in the surrounding Country Park you’ll find yourself in the type of woodland setting where you began your day.
The motto of Norfolk is ‘Do Different’ – an attitude we fully approve of at ŠKODA. And the city of Norwich fully embodies this in its many contrasts and contradictions.
It was always a mixture of the spiritual and temporal; there was once a pub for every day of the year and a church for every Sunday.
The imposing Norman cathedral and castle symbolise and dominate the city; yet the character of its people is more modest and unassuming.
And the combination of the old and new can be seen everywhere, especially where the medieval St Peter Mancroft Church stands opposite the modern Forum building with its gleaming glass façade.
Some might find this bringing together of the traditional and the state-of-the-art a bit odd. But when you’re driven by something different, you’ll love it.
