The Fabia marks the next step in the development of ŠKODA’s design language. Fusing crystalline shapes, sharp lines and expressive practicality, the ŠKODA Fabia maintains ŠKODA’s rich history of building design-orientated cars. It sets a benchmark for expression, dynamism and emotion on the road.
The journey from vision to reality is one that takes several years to realise. Our designers constantly reworked their designs - transforming the vision of the Fabia from the drawing board to the reality of its presence on the road.

EXPLORE THE REALITY
Our vision for the ŠKODA Fabia's front was to embody some of our new design language's core elements - a sloped front end to the bonnet with dual sharp edged beadings culminating in a geometric shaping of the grille.
We wanted the Fabia's headlights to integrate seamlessly with the grille. Dark underlays and intentionally clean lines accentuate the interplay of light and shade across the front of the car.
The Fabia looked like it was in movement during our initial designs. The distinctive tornado line, seen on all ŠKODA cars, cuts through the centre of the car - high above the wheel arches, drawing the eye to the slanted rear.
ŠKODA's Fabia designers were inspired by the tradition of Czech glass-making, in which colour variations and shapes are used to beautiful effect.
ŠKODA's distinctive logo, mounted precisely at the point of the car's centre, becomes the starting point from which the Fabia's crystalline bonnet beading draws the eye over the entire front-end of the car.
The ŠKODA Fabia's headlights are wide and precision cut, whilst remaining perfectly balanced with the grille - emphasising the front-end's visual strength. As a result the Fabia has a stronger, wider road stance.
The sloped rear window and inward pull of the lower portion of the tailgate emphasises the harmony of elements used in the Fabia's construction. The high tornado line adds another edge to the car's profile - highlighting the contrast between light and shade.
Bold lines converge to form C-shaped tail lights that frame the indicator and reverse lights - creating more depth to the car's rear and giving it overall strength in appearance.
We've given the dashboard a dynamic and intuitive look and feel. By moving the central air inlets higher up and positioning the radio and air conditioning controls centrally everything is within reach for the driver.
The ŠKODA Fabia has enough space for 5 occupants and their luggage. The interior passenger space is slightly longer and larger, providing both the driver and passengers with more headroom.
Watch the Fabia’s design elements come to life on the road.
Do not remove or change this. This is for GA tracking. You will not see in the front-end.
