Check you’ve enough fuel for the journey. And be aware that driving in stop/start conditions will use up fuel faster than normal.
Carefully dislodge frozen wipers with warm water or de-icer spray to carefully dislodge them. Don't try to use them to shift snow or ice as this can easily cause the wiper fuse to blow.
And remember – if the forecast or conditions are severe, only drive if the journey is absolutely necessary.
