Superb Hatch Interior Features

The interior of the Superb is a fantastic place to be. Each model has a high level of build quality, matched with supreme levels of standard specification and comfort make driving the Superb a real pleasure.

S models offer the driver manual air-conditioning, 7-airbags, comfortable cloth seats and chrome detailing on the dashboard. SE increases the high levels of comfort with alcantara upholstery, muli-function steering wheel, touchscreen ‘Bolero’ stereo with integrated 6CD autochanger and dual-zone air-conditioning. Elegance is the flagship model offering full leather upholstery, ‘Columbus’ touchscreen satellite navigation, Bluetooth with a multi-function steering wheel and electrically adjustable driver and passenger seats.

Lighting

Catvision diffused interior lighting (standard on SE and Elegance) highlights the  dashboard contours and prevent dis-orientation of the driver when looking for buttons.

Steering

There are a range of steering wheels available across the Superb range either as standard or as an option - from 4-spoke steering wheels, to 3 and 4-spoke leather steering wheels with controls for radio and/or telephone and even paddles for controlling the DSG transmission.

Space

Space is not a problem in the Superb. The legroom available in the front is enormous, coupled with limousine levels of legroom in the rear, allow for two six-footers to sit comfortably behind each other with room to spare.

Air Conditioning

Superb S models are available with standard manual air conditioning. Dual-zone air-conditioning (allows driver and passenger to have two temperatures differing by ±6 degrees) is available as an option on S models and standard on SE and Elegance.

Radio and Satellite Navigation

There are two media systems available for the Superb range – both using the latest touchscreen technology with intuitive menu systems. The ‘Bolero’ stereo with integrated 6CD autochanger (standard on SE, optional on S) also has an integrated SD card slot so that MP3’s can be played through the stereo, whilst the ‘Columbus’ satellite navigation system (option on SE, standard on Elegance) has a 30GB hard drive used to store maps of western Europe and MP3 music and an SD card slot.
