Sometimes bad things can happen to great cars. If a car from your fleet is written off as a result of theft, fire or accidental damage, the comprehensive motor insurance payout could fall short of the amount you paid for your vehicle and could be less than the amount that is outstanding to terminate the finance agreement. This is known as a payment gap.

Lease asset protection takes care of the gap, making a difference where it really counts; getting your drivers back onto the road and helping you to avoid additional fleet costs.

This is suitable for contract hire and finance lease agreements. It covers the difference between the insurance payout and the lease early termination charge (a percentage of your outstanding future rentals) up to £10,000. You will be covered for the full term of your finance lease agreement, up to a maximum of five years.*

There are no vehicle age restrictions for lease asset protection, and it is available on Standard Contract Hire and Finance Lease agreements. For business users who have opted to buy their car privately, asset protection is also available on Solutions, Hire Purchase and Lease Purchase plans.

Taking out asset protection is quick and straightforward, and the only thing to bear in mind is that you must have comprehensive motor insurance for the entire protection period. Speak to your local Škoda Retailer for full details.
