Cake
Škoda has long been known as the maker of exceedingly good cars,
but the television advert for the Fabia has put a little extra
icing on the cake.
The Fabia is 'full of lovely stuff' and to illustrate the point
we've baked a delicious, life-sized cake car that looks just
like the real thing. We swapped rivets for raisins, metal for
marzipan and spark plugs for sugar. And the result? Well, we think
it takes the biscuit!
The countries finest chocolatiers, bakers and bricklayers were
enlisted to construct the scrumptious Škoda and they really have
come up with the tastiest model yet! You'll be amazed at the
craftsmanship on display, astounded by the ingenuity of the design
and dumbfounded at the amount of syrup involved.
Filmed at West London's Shepperton Studios, the ad's life-sized
cake car has been causing a real stir among the British viewing
public and motoring press alike.
As you've no doubt seen by now, we enlisted the help
of the country's finest chocolatiers, bakers and bricklayers to
construct the scrumptious Škoda and we think the attention to
detail is astounding. From the sugar-dusted white roof down to the
treacle-filled engine, the cake car is as close to the real thing
as it's possible to get with sponge.
Just in case you're thinking of having a go at building your own
munchable motor, we thought we'd give you a full list of the
